Daniel Wiredu-Asante

Daniel Richard Wiredu-Asante, is a Ghanaian artist trained with an education from Ankle College of Art and Ghanatta College of Art in 1988. Wiredu-Asante's work echoes the spirit of his generation of artists. Working with oil, acrylic and mixed media collages his work is familiar yet intriguing, dramatic and expressive.In his own words, "As an artist, my work reflects the culture and the world around me. What I think, feel and see in the world is what I translate onto the canvas. It is a cathartic experience of portraying a continuous stream of thoughts".
